Why the Lemon Tree?
The Lemon Tree is a lifestyle; a place where excitement thrives and lives evolves. When at home, the Lemon Tree never forgets the people, places and philosophies learned from every destination.
Trees are symbolic to human existence. Roots imbed deep into the earth and leaves shine bright into the sun. It’s a juxtaposition to fuse inner and outer worlds unanimously. Lemon Trees are no exception.
Lemon trees have existed since the age of the man. Originated in Eastern Asia and the Himalayas, later lemon trees migrated to Europe and the Mediterranean. The tree’s first migration occurred in 300 B.C. where Persian traders carried lemon trees to Greece. Ancient and modern cultures around the world recognized the importance of lemons, but it all started when Egyptians and Romans detected numerous health benefits. Moving on, medieval-era philosophies labelled lemons as the "Golden Apple" and prized lemons for its healing properties.
Spiritually, lemon trees are an enduring symbol for cleansing, freshness and healing. It symbolizes adoration, commitment and romance. Lemons, like travel, cleanse and restore our mind, body and soul. It’s like a dance with the world, falling in love with every destination and romanticizing about the life abroad.
The Lemon & The Author
For some, traveling is a vacation and escape from work. For me, traveling is my life. It’s the place where I am free and life is best lived. Traveling is an emotional and a spiritual journey. Travel opens curiosity and hearts to the world to discover cultures, explore human history and experience rituals.
Lemon Trees embody my existence. For some reason, I have been attracted to lemon and citrus trees. And for another reason, my soul yearned to discover places like Spain and Greece. Every time I walk through streets or fields with citrus trees, I feel alive and one with the universe. The lemon tree, a powerful creation from nature, inspires me and reminds me that the world, travel and life is truly beautiful.
Whether I’m meditating in an ashram in India, savoring a vegan meal in Germany, exploring medieval history in Tallinn or dancing at a beach club in Ibiza, my inner and outer worlds thrive while enjoying the pleasures of life and travel. I fuse and experience the deep and airy aspects of life, similar to a tree, to explore the best of every culture.

The Lemon Tree's Simple Philosophy
"Lemons are symbolic to life. You have the choice to create a great life, or to be "sour" and choose nothing. I don't know about you, but if this is my only life, I'm making the most out my lemons. I choose to drink the life of travel, wanderlust and curiosity."
